About STEM Demystified

STEM Demystified began as a LinkedIn newsletter - a series of interviews with women in STEM from around the world, sharing their journeys, their challenges, and their advice for the next generation. What started as a passion project grew into something bigger: a platform built to make those stories accessible to the young people who need them most.

We believe representation changes everything. When a child sees someone who looks like them, comes from where they come from, and has built a life in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics - something shifts. Curiosity turns into confidence. “Maybe one day” becomes “why not me?”

STEM Demystified exists to close that gap - bringing together real role models from across the globe, alongside the women throughout history whose discoveries quietly changed the world, so every young person can see STEM as something that belongs to them.
